Shipping and Returns
Shipping is calculated 1 rock per box. When ordering more then 1 rock, give us a call to calculate shipping, by placing more then one rock per box or one rock inside another rock to help cut the cost of shipping. On larger orders rocks can be put on a skid and shipped by truck.
One percent of all customers leave an incorrect shipping or billing address when processing an order. If UPS charges D.C. Works, Inc. for an address correction, your credit card will be charged $25.
D. C. Works, Inc. must be notified by email and a call within 48 hrs. after delivery. Call us at: 847-464-4280 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday-Friday. We will accept returns up to 15 days after the delivery date. Products must be returned, in new condition, via UPS or LTL trucking company at the customer's expense to:
The package being returned must be insured for the total purchase price. Once D. C. Works, Inc. receives the product back in new condition we will issue a refund to the original credit card number used, however, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Please allow 15-20 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. Custom made rocks cannot be returned. If item being returned is damaged by UPS or the LTL trucking company it will be up to the customer to collect the insurance, and there will be no refund from D.C. Works, Inc. Custom Rocks AND COLORS Are Non Returnable.
If the customer receives a product which damaged during shipping, D. C. Works, Inc. must be notified within 48 hrs. after delivery by email and a call. Call us at: 847-464-4280 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday-Friday. We will request photos of the damaged box and product. D. C. Works, Inc. will issue a call tag for the damaged item, and we will contact UPS for pick up of the damaged product in the original box with all of the packing material in place. After D. C. Works, Inc. receives photos of the damaged box and product, we will send a replacement. If a trucking company delivers a damaged item, the customer will be asked to take photos of the damage and must refuse to take posession of the shipment or sign for the product(s). After we receive photos of the damaged skid and product and the merchandise is sent back to D. C. Works, Inc. we will send a replacement product.
Failure to follow the directions above or notify D. C. Works, Inc. in writing and with a call within 48 hours of receiving the shipment may result in the loss of replacement merchandise or will delay credit.
